1. Acceptance

By installing or using Smart Chips for Linear ("the Add-on"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not install or use the Add-on.

2. Description

The Add-on is a Google Workspace Add-on that converts Linear URLs pasted in Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides into Smart Chips with rich preview cards. It is provided free of charge.

3. Requirements

  • A Google Workspace or Google account
  • A Linear account with access to the workspaces whose URLs you want to preview
  • Authorization of the Add-on to access your Linear account (read-only)

4. Permitted Use

You may use the Add-on for any lawful purpose consistent with its intended functionality: previewing Linear entity URLs as Smart Chips in Google Workspace applications.

5. Intellectual Property

"Linear" is a trademark of Linear Orbit, Inc. "Google Workspace" is a trademark of Google LLC. This Add-on is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Linear Orbit, Inc.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE ADD-ON IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE DEVELOPER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE ADD-ON.

8. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Add-on is subject to our Privacy Policy. The Add-on accesses Linear data on your behalf using your authorized credentials. We do not collect or store personal data on our own servers.

9. Third-Party Services

The Add-on relies on Google Apps Script (Google LLC) and the Linear API (Linear Orbit, Inc.). Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Add-on at any time by uninstalling it from Google Workspace. We may discontinue the Add-on at any time without notice.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the Add-on after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
